About Fuzzy Bum
Did you know healthy honeybees are covered in tiny hairs—what we like to call their “fuzzy bums”? These hairs help collect pollen and are a sign of thriving, happy bees. For us, the name reflects the joy, care, and dedication we put into every jar. When the bees are happy, it shows in their honey—and their adorable fuzzy bums!

Where is Fuzzy Bum located?
We are proudly based in South Australia, the driest state in the driest country in the world. Beekeeping here is no easy task, but like all agricultural ventures in our beautiful state, it’s a labour of love. We also have beehives in across Victoria, NSW and Queensland producing fantastic honey from each state diverse floral resources.

As Australia’s first officially trained honey sommelier, Jess studied in the USA and Italy to master the art of tasting honey, from subtle floral notes to the richness of regional terroir.
Her passion? Helping more people discover just how diverse, delicious, and special Australian honey really is.
We’re buzzing to have her as part of the Fuzzy Bum family. She’s one-of-a-kind, and helping the world taste honey in a whole new way.

Through Duxton Bees, we provide large-scale pollination services to growers across South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. During critical flowering periods, strong, healthy hives are placed into crops to help ensure successful pollination, better yields, and consistent harvests.
It’s a quiet part of what we do, but it’s one of the most important. One in every three bites of food relies on bee pollination, making healthy honeybee populations essential to Australian food security.
